Lewiston Pump Turbine Overhaul

AMS Industrial Services Company personnel were contracted to perform the disassembly, refurbishment and reassembly of vertical Allis Chalmers pump/turbine generators on all 12 pump units. To date we have completed nine successful units. Work includes removal and installation of brand new servomotors, replacement of the embedded discharge ring, seal ring, line boring of wicket gates, installation of a new turbine runner and stainless-steel wicket gates, refurbishment of the stay ring, re-contouring of the stay vanes, and machining of the horizontal surfaces.
